Our Hope Ministries

Jesus Christ

God loves YOU and wants to have a personal relationship with you.

The Bible Says:

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that
whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." (John 3:16)

So why do so many people not have a personal relationship with God?.....

Our sin keeps us from having a personal relationship with God.

Sin is failing to be all that God created us to be by either the wrong that we
do or those things that we fail to do that God desires us to do.

The Bible says:

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)

Because we fall short of God's ideals, we are separated from God. But there is a solution.....

God's solution.....

Jesus Christ died in our place, paid our penalty for us, and rose from the dead so that our sins can be forgiven.

The Bible says:

"For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. He was put to death in the body but made alive by the Spirit." (1 Peter 3:18 )

How do we begin a personal relationship with God?.....

You must personally trust Jesus Christ to be your Savior.

The Bible says:

"Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave
the right to become children of God." (John 1:12)

Christianity is not a religion, it is a personal relationship with God
through the work of Jesus Christ.

So here's the question.....

Are YOU ready for a personal relationship with God?

You can start your personal relationship with God by talking to Him and telling Him that
you are putting all of your trust in Him. The words aren't important. Putting your trust
in Him is. Your prayer can be something like this.....

Dear God, I know that my sin has kept me separated from You. I know that Your Son Jesus
died on the cross in my place, to pay my penalty, and rose again from the dead. Thank You
for what Your Son Jesus did. I want to turn from my sin and trust Jesus to forgive me.
Please come into my life and lead me in the ways that you have planned for me. Thank
You for the relationship that I now have with You forever. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your Trust in Jesus Christ begins a lifelong relationship.

The Bible says:

"Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you." (Hebrews 13:5)

You can depend on God and His Word.

We must depend on the facts that God gives us in His Word, the Bible. Life is full of
ups and downs so we must depend on God's facts, and not on our feelings. Feelings
may come and go, but the FACT that God loves YOU, that God forgives YOU, and that
God promises You eternal life in Heaven will NEVER change, despite your feelings.
